2026 Women in Dance International Film Festival & Screening Series

A global celebration of screendance, dance on film, and movement-based storytelling.

The 2026 Women in Dance International Film Festival & Screening Series is connecting dance filmmakers with audiences across communities and around the world.

More than 30 selected films representing artists from across the globe were presented at 7artscafe in Yokohama, Japan, on October 17–18. Women in Dance also shared seven films from its 2021–2025 programs at the Tallgrass Film Festival in Wichita, Kansas, where local professional dancers brought filmmaker-created movement prompts to life before the screening.
